An investigation by the Gambling Commission revealed that Blue Star Planet Limited, trading as 10Bet, had failed to implement adequate Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies, procedures, and controls. Additionally, the operator’s responsible gambling policies, procedures, controls, and practices were found to be deficient, with weaknesses in implementation and reporting arrangements. The investigation found that Blue Star allowed customers to gamble at high velocities, permitted high-value deposits, and failed to obtain source of fund details.
Despite these failings, Blue Star Planet Limited has agreed to pay the required sum as part of a settlement with the Commission. The regulator recognized the operator’s efforts to improve its AML and responsible gambling policies and procedures since the investigation began.
